( After rendezvousing with Luke and Mara on the Jade Shadow, filling them in on why Ben needed to be grounded forever and giving their injured party more proper temporary medical attention, Tenel Ka agreed to have her surgeons work on Zekk. ( While Jaina was sure the sheer ferocity with which she trained sometimes raised eyebrows, she would have loved to point out that occasionally she had to do things like try to make her way through an unfamiliar Vongformed planet in what was brewing up to be a major storm as fast as possible while keeping up with commandos and the greatest Jedi ever, and that in itself she thought should give her reason to defend her training to her death. )

( Once the battle plan was decided, things seemed to move faster than they actually did. Almost as soon as Jaina was reunited with her parents, they were separated again as Han and Leia ran off into yet another dangerous mission on Caluula. As far as Jaina was concerned, that sort of thing was fine for her to do, but the rest of her family just needed to slow the hell down already. )

( The Solo family had a a small apartment on Mon Calamari to use. Jaina was nervous enough to get there, and the anxiety only increased when she found out that Jacen wasn't there at the moment. )

Really, Jaina thought, if anyone still needed proof that she wasn't going to just slip back over to the dark side, the fact that she hadn't killed everyone in a rage yet should have been enough.
